Rastafari
Community

A religious-cultural movement that began in Jamaica. Rastafarians believe that Haile Selassie, also named Ras Tafari, the last emperor of Ethiopia, is the Messiah. Reggae music is heavily influenced by Rastafarianism. Topics include reggae, marcus garvey and bob marley. Also covered are rasta, reggae lyrics and rastafari. Other areas are rastafarianism, haile selassie and jah rastafari, as well as history of reggae and ras tafari. Plus jamaica religion, jamaican religion and ethiopia. Topics also include amharic, dub, dreadlocks, ital and more.

Ms. Chideya made such an impression on I when I read her "Dont Believe the Hype" a book that exposes the Welfare Myths about Black People in this country. I promise if you read this book you will see just how "brainwashed" even the most Afrocentric pan African in this country truly is.
